The Irish Chamber of Commerce – Indonesia successfully held an Alumni Gathering Lunch on the 9th November 2024. We were delighted to see more than 30 alumni in attendance, all of whom graduated from universities across Ireland. Alumni in attendance came from various levels of study, from undergraduate to doctoral. Many were former Indonesian exchange students, including those from the IISMA program.
The alumni were warmly welcomed by the Embassy of Ireland in Indonesia, who expressed their enthusiasm for the strong and growing connection between Ireland and Indonesia through education and professional networks.

The Ambassador of Ireland to Indonesia, H.E Padraig Francis, expressed his delight, saying he was happy to see many Indonesian alumni who graduated from Ireland. He believed there are still more alumni we have yet to connect with. He hopes the connection between Indonesia and Ireland will continue to strengthen.

Michael, the appointed of The Irish Chamber of Commerce – Indonesia, expressed his gratitude to the alumni. He introduced the chamber as a new organization in Indonesia.
As a gesture or the new organization, Michael announced that the chamber will offer a complimentary one-year membership for the alumni.
He added that he hopes to see more collaboration and networking between the alumni and the Irish Chamber of Commerce – Indonesia.
