The Irish Chamber of Commerce

Indonesia convened its consultative team meeting, marking a significant milestone in the chamber’s ongoing efforts to bolster economic relations between Ireland and Indonesia. The meeting, held at the residence of H.E. PĂ¡draig Francis, Ambassador of Ireland to Indonesia and Patron of the Chamber, brought together key stakeholders and experts to discuss the current status, future plans, and vision for the chamber.

Ambassador PĂ¡draig Francis opened the meeting with a warm welcome, expressing his gratitude to the team for their invaluable insights and guidance. The ambassador highlighted the chamber’s mission to foster robust business connections and cultural exchanges between the two nations.

Francisca Hadi, the appointed Executive Director of the Irish Chamber of Commerce – Indonesia, presented a comprehensive overview of the chamber’s establishment and future plans. Her presentation outlined strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing bilateral trade, investment opportunities, and cultural cooperation. Hadi emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts in realizing the chamber’s vision and thanked the consultative team for their continued support.

The consultative team comprises esteemed professionals including Michael Noble, CEO of Noble Solutions, Liam Hayes, Director and Founder of Bali Business Broker, Randolph Winarta, Partner at Frans Winarta & Partners Law Firm, Paul Scales from the Irish-Thai Chamber of Commerce, Mick Morris, CFO & Director Indonesia, Director Philippines at AIG, and Lolita Maureen, Indonesia Operational Director of Noble Solutions. Their diverse expertise and dedication are pivotal in shaping the chamber’s strategic direction.

A special thanks was extended to Paul Scales from the Irish-Thai Chamber of Commerce, who joined the meeting virtually. Scales shared his extensive experience in navigating the complexities of managing a chamber, providing valuable advice and insights that will be instrumental in shaping the ICCI’s future endeavors.

The consultative team engaged in a dynamic discussion, exploring innovative ways to strengthen the economic ties between Ireland and Indonesia. Topics ranged from identifying key areas of collaboration, such as technology, education, and renewable energy, to strategies for promoting Indonesian exports to Ireland and the broader European market. Additionally, the team discussed how to attract Irish businesses to tap into the Indonesian market, highlighting the immense opportunities available in this rapidly growing economy.

The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment to the chamber’s mission and a shared enthusiasm for the opportunities that lie ahead. The insights and recommendations gathered will play a crucial role in refining the chamber’s strategies and ensuring its success.

The Irish Chamber of Commerce – Indonesia is set its inaugural Annual General Meeting (AGM) on March 2025. The chamber aims to serve as a pivotal platform for fostering business growth, facilitating trade, and promoting cultural exchange between Ireland and Indonesia.
